There are different types of Arginine on the market today. The most basic form is Arginine monohydrate but this type is not very well absorbed by the body. Therefore a good workout booster always contians more than one type of Arginine.

L-Arginin Alpha Keto Glutarate (AKG)
This type of Arginine improves the bioavailability of Arginine in the body. AKG is also a precursor of L-Glutamins from which the body can in return produce Arginine again.

Arginin Ketoisocaproate (AKIC)
AKIC has anticatabolic properties which means it reduces the breakdown of muscle tissue. Part of the AKIc is converted to HMB which is an amino acid derivate protecting muscle tissue from breakdown.

Außerdem enthalten gute NO-Booster weitere Stoffe um die Wirkung des Arginins zu unterstützen. Hier einige Beispiele:

Citrulline Mallate
Citrulline is also an amino acid. It detoxifies the lver and plays an important role in the fat metabolism. It can also increase to arginine level in the blood which in return leads to more strength.

Nicotinamid Adenin Dinucleotide
NAD has several functions in the body. The most important one is its ability to stimulate ATP production and therefore giving the muscle more strength.
